Description
The Ridgewood Run ® presented by Volvo of Ramsey and organized by the North Jersey Masters Running Club in honor of Fred D'Elia, is returning on Monday, May 27, 2024.
This year's race has been selected as the USATF-NJ 10K Open Men & Women's Championship.
This is the 47th running of this annual Memorial Day celebration. It is one of North Jersey and Ridgewood's premier kick-off events of the summer season. It is a spirited, family-focused day of fun activities that include a 10K, 5K, the Ridgewood YMCA Kid's Fun Run, Competitive Mile, and a Mile Community Run. Run one or all of them! It is also home to the Kessler Foundation Wheelchair 10K which attracts some of the world's fastest wheelchair athletes.
Last year The Ridgewood Run® brought over 3,000 participants, volunteers and spectators to town, attracting local and county residents as well as thousands of people from all across New Jersey, the tri-state area and beyond.
Race proceeds benefit the Special Olympics of New Jersey, the Kessler Foundation, Ridgewood YMCA and other local charitable organizations.
