Description
The Union County Rugby Football Club, located in New Jersey, has been in operation since 1974 and touts over 1,000 club members from kindergarten age to adult. We offer both touch and tackle rugby teams that play year round. The Club will be celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2024, and we are fundraising and drawing awareness to this monumental event.
To assist in our fundraising efforts and to foster some friendly competition within the rugby community, we invite you to challenge yourself to one (or multiple) of the virtual race options by logging your total accumulated mileage over a time frame of your choosing. Your selected mileage doesn't have to be done all at once & you can walk, run, or bike to completion!
International Test Match - 200 Miles (a little over 2 miles a day) Our most challenging race option at the highest level of competition. Sign up for the International Test Match to commit to 200 miles travelled this summer, or approximately 2 miles a day.
The Weekend Warrior - 100 (a mile a day) Is club rugby more your speed these days? Our 100 mile race gives you the option to remain competitive, while still giving you time for some summer fun (and to ice those ailing knees).
Here for the Social - 50 miles (half mile a day) Social players unite! We have a super reasonable race option for you. Cover 50 miles over the course of the summer so you can stay fit for "that one tournament a year" and fit into the merch from your playing days.
Superfan - 25 miles - Find yourself on the sidelines or just getting started in your rugby or fitness journey? Choose our Superfan option to crush your first 25 miles of the summer.

-When does the Virtual Event Start/End?
This a rolling start virtual event. Start anytime. Run/Walk/Hike/Bike your race anywhere. You have until August 31, 2022 to complete your selected Run/Walk/Hike/Bike Challenge & submit results online.

- Can I Walk?
YES! This is a challenge for all levels, fitness and abilities. Run, Walk, Jog, Bike - whatever you choose!
-Where do I enter My Results?
CLICK HERE to view the results page and click the "Submit Virtual Results Button" You may log results daily and track your progress online!
-How Long Does it take to receive our SWAG?
Packages will go out in chronological order from when your order was placed once race registration closes in July. Please allow for delays in the shipping process due to Covid-19 restrictions and USPS backups. We are sourcing screen printed t-shirts and custom medal production from local suppliers.
-Who is hosting this event?

-What is your Refund Policy?
Due to the SWAG items being custom ordered and donations processed, refunds are not available for this race. Please note this is a virtual running event. Your race SWAG will be shipped to your door regardless of whether you actually finish the race.
