Miles for Mentorship
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic and Cape May Counties welcomes runners to the inaugural Run the Runway 5K & 1 mile walk! Runners and walkers get an exclusive tour of the iconic Cape May Airport in this one of a kind opportunity.
- Both events start and finish at the Cape May Brewing Co. tasting room. Complimentary beer for participants 21+ and non-alcoholic beverages will be given at the finish line party.
- Awards in the 5K to the top 3 M/F overall and in age groups: 10U, 11-14, 15-19, and 10 year AG up to 70+
- Register by April 6 to guarantee your race giveaway item. Limited supply after this date.
- Strollers welcome in the run or walk! Sorry, no pets.

About the Organizers
Big Brothers Big Sisters of Atlantic & Cape May Counties, founded in 1965, currently serves over 200 children in Atlantic and Cape May Counties through our community and school based mentoring programs. Insert more information here.
Second Capital Running has been making great races happen in South Jersey since 2018. Rich collaboration and strong community ties drive our mission to create quality event experiences like this race and we are honored to help deliver another iconic event to Cape May County.

The DRBA is closing the runway for one hour for this event, and so participants have that much time to complete either the 5K or 1M
Early pickup will be available the day before the race at Cape May Brewing Co (more details tbd) and on race day from 7:30 to 8:55 am

Online registration will remain open until 8:55 am on race day. All race day signups are done online only and we accept all credit/debit payment or Apple Pay
The start and finish line for the 5K and the 1M are located behind the Cape May Brewing Co tasting room at 1240 Hornet Rd
Free parking will be available in the vicinity of the start/finish line. Follow appropriate signage and volunteers on race day
