🧟 Clinton Road Zombie Run – Zombie Crawl, 5k & 10k
Where the undead meet endurance.
Clinton Road, infamous for its eerie legends and haunted reputation, becomes the ultimate backdrop for a chilling challenge. Runners will test their speed, stamina, and courage as they race through shadowy woods, foggy stretches, and the unsettling silence of one of New Jersey’s most mysterious roads.
👟 Race Distances
• Zombie Crawl: This walk/run is guaranteed to get you moving. Grab your missing limbs and hit the road for a brisk "tour" of Clinton Road. Come costumed and ready to show that the undead don't stay dead. (This is a 1 mile FUN Run and will not be Timed. Costumes are encouraged. Participants running taking part in the 5k and 10k will be welcome to join in as well)
• 5k: A fast-paced sprint across NJ's most haunted road, perfect for beginners or thrill-seekers.
• 10k: The full endurance test—only the bravest survive the whispers, shadows, and lurking zombies.
🎃 Atmosphere
• Zombie volunteers line the course, ready to chase, cheer, and spook runners.
• Haunted aid stations with eerie lighting and themed refreshments.
• Finish line festival featuring music, costumes, and awards for best zombie runner.
🏆 Awards & Fun
• Prizes for top finishers in 5k and 10k distance.
• Costume contest for the most creative undead look.
• “Survivor Medals” for everyone who makes it to the finish line.
- Event Check-in
- There will be 3 available time slots to check in for your Race. Runners are encouraged to Check in as early as possible so that we may keep our race times accurate.
- Friday 10/16 6pm-9pm ( West Milford Library )
- Saturday 10/17 9am-12pm ( West Milford Library )
- Sunday 10/18 (NO SAME DAY SIGN UPS WILL BE AVAILABLE)
- The Check-in tent will be Stationed at Paradise Knoll School. (103 Paradise Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.)
- Final Bib Pickup for the 10K will be @ 9am. Check in for all events will Close promptly at 10:30am at which time all Participants should make their way to Clinton Road Via Shuttle.
- There will be 3 available time slots to check in for your Race. Runners are encouraged to Check in as early as possible so that we may keep our race times accurate.
- There will be NO PARKING on Clinton Road. All Parking will take place at Paradise Knoll School . (103 Paradise Road, Oak Ridge, NJ.)
- Runners will be Shuttled from PK Elementary to Clinton Road Start Line. Please be prompt
- 10K will be the first Event, followed by the 5k and the Zombie Crawl.
- Vendor and Sponsor areas will be available before and after the races are concluded.
- Water stations will be available along the course.
- All awards will follow conclusion of the Zombie Crawl.

Clinton Road is a roughly 10-mile long, isolated road in West Milford, New Jersey, notorious for its ghost stories and paranormal legends, making it a popular destination for thrill-seekers.
