Place
Take exit 39A for Route 10 East (Whippany). Go through 3 traffic lights. Before 4th traffic light, which comes up quickly, take the right jug handle around the Whippany Diner. You will be crossing Route 10, and will see the CVS on your left. This puts you on Troy Hills Road. Continue on Troy Hills Road to the first light. Make a left at this light onto Highland Avenue. Take this to the end and make a right onto Reynolds Avenue. Continue for about ½ mile to Bee Meadow Pond, which will be on your left. As you pass the pond, make a left onto Pond Road. Brickyard Field is just behind the pond.
From Route 287 North:

Take Route 24 to Whippany Road exit. At the end of the exit ramp, make a right onto Whippany Road. Take Whippany Road to the end, and make a right onto Route 10 East. Right before next light, which comes up quickly, take the right jug handle around the Whippany Diner. You will be crossing Route 10, and will see the CVS on your left. This puts you on Troy Hill Road. Continue on Troy Hills Road to the first light. Make a left at this light onto Highland Avenue. Take this to the end and make a right onto Reynolds Avenue. Continue for about ½ mile to Bee Meadow Pond, which will be on your left. As you pass the pond, make a left onto Pond Road. Brickyard Field is just behind the pond.
From Route 80:
Take Route 80 East or West to Route 287 South and follow the directions above for Route 287 South.
From Eastern Portion of Route 78 (Newark Area):
Take Route 78 West to Route 24 West, and follow the directions above for Route 24.
From Western Portion of Route 78 (Clinton Area):
Take 78 East to Route 287 North and follow the directions above for Route 287 North.
From the New Jersey Turnpike:
Take either Route 80 to Route 287 South or Route 78 West to Route 24 West and follow directions above.
Description
The proceeds raised from this event will go to the Whippany Fire Company Scholarship fund and Tunnel to Tower Foundation.
One mile fun run start time is 8am
Race is Sanctioned and Grand Prix 500 pts.
Registration: 7:00am to 8:00am at Bee Meadow Park– Reynolds Ave Whippany
Race time: 8:30am

COURSE: USATF CERTIFIED 5K COURSE ON TOWNSHIP ROADS FLAT, HILL, AND INCLINE. Start and finish at Bee Meadow Park
ENTRY FEES: $30.00 if pre-registered by Aug 21st $35.00 after and day of the race. Students 19 and under
and USATF-NJ $25.00 if pre-registered by Aug 21st, $30.00 after up to Aug 28 and $35.00 day of the race.
Active Military (with proof) $25.00. 1-mile fun run $20.00. Corporate rate for 20 participants or more $25.00
