The Fiesta is back - and we’re turning the volume UP! 
After an incredible first year, we’re building something even bigger for 2026: more runners, more entertainment, more community involvement, and a finish-line celebration. If you thought last year was fun, just wait.

Run through the heart of Albuquerque, like Downtown, along Route 66, surrounded by the Rio Grande Trails, with vibrant culture in Old Town, and the unmistakable spirit of New Mexico in the North Valley. Whether you’re chasing a PR (extremely flat course), crossing your very first finish line, or turning this into an annual tradition with friends and family, you belong at the Fiesta. We are also very friendly to first timers.,

All races are professionally timed, USATF-certified, filled with music, cheer squads, photo opportunities, and fiesta energy from start to finish.

All marathon participants receive: Premium Finisher Medal | Fiesta Race Shirt | Custom Spike Bag | White Sports Cap | Chip Timed Race | Finish Line Festival 

All other participants receive: Premium Finisher Medal | Fiesta race shirt | Chip Timed Race | Finish-line Festival

*The event will begin early in the morning, with the marathon starting at approximately 7:00 am, the half-marathon at 8:00 am, and the 5K at 9:00 am. Pacers will be available for all distances, along with a bike lead and rolling bike course support. Aid stations with water and energy gels will be provided along the course. The marathon time limit is 6 hours. Participants who continue beyond this time may finish the course, but will be required to move to the sidewalks and follow all traffic laws.

Proudly built by the local community, for the local community. The Albuquerque Running Fiesta supports youth programs through the Mile Adoption Program, supports non-profits, highlights local businesses, and showcases the city we love.
