Buffalo City Hall to the White House

Join us for the City of Good Neighbors Virtual Run 385 miles from Buffalo's City Hall to the White House. In keeping with the WNY running community’s tradition of supporting all its members, each runner will figuratively carry the message from Buffalo to DC that we believe in support and investment in our community in times of need. A portion of each entry fee will be directed to support 3 local Non For Profits - Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers, FeedMore WNY Foundation and The Leeproject/W.I.T.T. Foundation organizations that are active in some of our cities' most challenged neighborhoods.

This event is being supported by volunteers from the The Walter C Hobson Community Outreach Foundation (

Over 125 Years of Serving Our Community

Buffalo Federation of Neighborhood Centers (BFNC) is a community agency with over 125 years of serving the Buffalo community. BFNC has always been committed to providing programs and services that uplift and empower community members to create a pathway to their success. BFNC delivers comprehensive, coordinated, family focused human services to low-income and disadvantaged neighborhoods throughout Buffalo, Niagara Falls, and Lockport, New York. BFNC’s strength in serving the community is based on integrating care coordination, housing, social rehabilitation, financial management, and other supportive services through our programs for youth, adults and seniors.

PROJECT LEE - Learning & Earning Experiences

Project Lee is a non-profit organization which offers multiple programs to meet the needs of our youth, including Project WITT - Wisdom in Troubled Times. Project WITT reaches students in the toughest neighborhoods in the city of Buffalo with goals of reaching every student in every school in the region, eventually spreading the positive change throughout the country.   When we give our youth what they need to succeed, they will certainly change the future for the better.

Feedmore of WNY

FeedMore WNY’s food bank and Meals on Wheels programs have a combined 90 years of feeding the Western New York community. We continue to look forward and find new ways to serve our vulnerable community members and eradicate hunger in WNY. As a cornerstone of FeedMore WNY’s mission to enrich the lives of our neighbors in need, our core meal delivery services promote independent, healthy living by offering nutritious food and a friendly visit to homebound neighbors.
