Description

Calling all kids that want to TRI something new, challenge themselves, and enjoy the world of multi-sport.  We believe that triathlon is one of the greatest lifetime sports ever created and invite your children, grandchildren, nieces, nephews and neighbors to fall in love with lifetime fitness, health and well-being.  Held in the beautiful lakeside community of Cassadaga, NY., just off of I-90, one hour south of Buffalo, NY and 1 hour north of Erie, PA.

For ages 4 - 14

100meter swim, 3 mile bike, 1 mile run.

SWIM COURSE

A quick 100m swim from the Cassadaga Beach in the clear, clean waters of the Lower Lake of the Cassadaga Lakes.

We swim within the roped-in area from the sandy beach.

Each participant will complete one loop of the course.  We start the older kids first, let them finish and then the littles take off.

Plenty of adult support in the water.

Kiddos are welcome to use a personal swim buoy, life vest, or arm floats for comfort and security.

BIKE COURSE

All right-hand turns around the perfect 3.1 mile loop around the lake.

Wide shoulders and light traffic make this the perfect bike ride.  Adult support on the bike course.

HELMETS are absolutely a MUST.  These are not provided.  Please make sure your child has a well-fitted helmet that can be secured under their chin.

Out of transition, right onto Park Ave and turn right onto Maple Ave.,
Right turn onto Burnham Place
Burnham Place becomes Alden Road
Right turn onto Frisbee Road
Right turn at the Stop sign onto Dale Drive
Right turn onto Park Ave and back into transition

RUN COURSE

The 1 mile run begins as you exit out of transition.

Follow the cones along the fence and out of the gate, running next to the Finish Line.

You will run on the left side of the road to the end of Park Avenue and take a left turn onto Dale Drive, staying to your left.

Running along the lake on this flat course you will see the turnaround spot at the 1/2 mile point.  Turn around and head back the same way to the Finish Line.

An aid station will be set up within the transition area with water available.
