ALL FUND RAISED GO TO: The Chamber Small Business Grant Program, which provides funding to small businesses for equipment and marketing upgrades as well as costs to cover LLC formation when starting a new business, and to Hamilton Central School Athletics. The Chamber has a fundraising goal of $3,000. All remaining fundraising will go to Hamilton Central School Athletics.

Register for the first annual Hamilton Chamber of Commerce 5K Race!

Location: Hamilton Village Green, specifically the plot of green next to Community Bank at 35 Broad St, Hamilton, NY

Parking and Restrooms: Hamilton Central School, 47 West Kendrick, Hamilton, NY

Start Time: 5K Timed @ 8:30 am

Family Fun Run @ 9:30 am

Join us for the first annual Chamber 5K! A beautiful run through our charming village, the proceeds of which will go towards our Chamber Small Business Grant Program and the Hamilton Central School Athletics. 

As you run along the low-traffic country roads, you’ll be rewarded with amazing views of Colgate's campus and our picturesque village and business community. The race start/finish and post-race fest are on the village green, with parking at Hamilton Central School, conveniently nearby- within walking distance.

The family fun run is a half-mile loop around the village green.

The 5K event benefits the Chamber Small Business Grant Program and Hamilton Central School Athletics.

RACE WEATHER & CLIMATE
Hamilton is located 45 miles SE of Syracuse in Central NY. Hamilton typically sees temperatures in June range between the mid 50's and mid 70’s. 

COURSE DETAILS
The course route is pictured below.

The 5K course will lead you towards the farmers market down East Pleasant Street, up Charles Street with a brief jog on Payne Street before doubling back on University Ave. You will jog up towards and across Colgate's campus and back down College Street. After passing the halfway point at Colgate's 1965 Arena, you will turn onto Lebanon Street and come back up West Kendrick, running by one of our fundraising recipients, Hamilton Central School. The final stretch takes you down Broad Street and back to our starting point before cooling off to enjoy the many farmers market vendors or local businesses. The roads are mostly flat with one incline on University Ave on the way to Colgate's campus.
