Description
The Le Roy Turkey Trot has been in our community for over 15 years. Last year, the mileage was changed from a 5k to a 5-miler in memory of Jenny Smith who was from the Le Roy community and was an avid runner. Jenny and passed away from luekemia in 2015 from a rare form of Luekemia. We honor Jenny and all those with Luekemia by dousing runners with the color of orange at the finish line! Not interested in running 5-miles? We also offer families a 2-mile walk as well.
This race is the first race in our Tri the Oatka's 3-race series.
