Description
Black Diamond Express Half Marathon & 5K — To benefit the Mendon Foundation - Mendon, New York's local land trust and developer/maintainer of the Lehigh Valley Trail in partnership with the Monroe County Parks Department.
(Including virtual option, with option to complete race within one week after race day.)

Course: Flat, scenic out & back course along the historic Lehigh Valley Trail

- Long sleeved (unisex) t-shirt OR mug guaranteed to the first 150 (combined) by August 3. (Once Sizes are gone after August 3 we are out of shirts!)

- Collectible ceramic medals for Half Marathon finishers, collectible ceramic lapel pins for 5K finishers.
- Once again, we are offering Virtual Half Marathon and 5K events! Run the distance within a week after the live race date, and we will mail your selected t-shirt or mug, and a medal (HM) or lapel pin (5K). You can download the race certificate post race and enter your time on the website.

Deferrals
We generally do not permit deferrals for our races. We are a small team of volunteers, and managing deferrals is difficult. Deferrals put a lot of wrinkles in regard to the amount of wasted medals and food that we purchase, and make additional administrative work for next year's races. We prefer that registrants use RunSignUp's ability to transfer registrations to other runners, which most people are able to make work. On the rare occasions when we do grant deferrals, it is only after people run out of options, and we will give preference to runners who have been with us before.
