GRTC Summer Picnic

The GRTC summer picnic will be at the Acorn Shelter of Durand Eastman Park from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm. Come out and join the group. We will have a fun run at 11:00 am, lunch at the shelter, and plenty of time for socialization. Food will be provided by CoreLife Eatery with a variety of serve-yourself options to satisfy a wide variety of dietary needs. It will be delivered around 12:30 p.m. and available shortly thereafter. Registration will be open through 11 a.m. on 7/29/2022, the day of the picnic, but to ensure we have the right amount of food, members are urged to register in advance. We don't want to over or under order!

Sriracha-Ginger Tofu & Ancient Grains Bowl

Roasted tofu, warm quinoa, shredded kale, carrots, shredded beets, spicy broccoli, ginger, and sriracha with carrot chili vinaigrette dressing. This is mixed together and designed for anyone with a need for a meal with no meat or dairy products.

Activities

Given the informal nature of the picnic, times are approximate.

11 a.m. (or shortly thereafter): Choice of trail or road fun run/walk

12:30 p.m.: Food arrives; lunch follows once it's set up.

1:15 p.m.: Trivia

1:30 - 3 p.m.: Lawn games, tabletop games, and socialization.

Participants are welcome to bring their own games to add to the mix!
