RWK Kids Run the Nation

Kids Run the Nation has been a Road Runners Club of America program since 2008, starting in response to the growing national concern for children’s health.  It is a gender inclusive program with an emphasis on participation and developing a healthy lifestyle.   

Running with Kelly's adaptation of the curriculum offers a more individualized approach, coaching each child at their current level.  This is perfect for kids ages 7-12 years.  There will be two classes, both on Mondays and Thursdays:

Level 1: 4:00-5:00PM:  Perfect for beginners, and younger runners

Level 2:  5:15-6:15PM:  Great class for mature runners who can already run 2-3 miles and are comfortable running in the neighborhood.

If you are unsure which class, I recommend Level 1.  We can always move them up if that makes better sense.

Having 2 parent volunteers per class would be VERY helpful but not required.  During the registration process, you'll have the option to offer volunteer times. Thank you!
