BEER MILE BACK ON!!! Sunday, September 17th at Heroes Brewing!  Details below!

Are you ready to RUN & DRINK BEER?!

Come to Heroes Brewing Company at 543 Atlantic Avenue, Rochester, NY 14609 to compete in the official Rochester Beer Mile.

What is a "Beer Mile"?

If you're unfamiliar with a traditional Beer Mile, the event has historical roots in the running community. The Beer Mile was usually only held underground but was held as a professional event for the first time in 2014, finally legitimizing a long-standing but previously unofficial race.

The rules are as follows: Drink 1 beer, run 1/4 mile. Repeat 4x.

Compete Solo, in a 2 person relay, or in a 4 person relay.
You can choose to run both relays if you like.

You may NOT run the Solo and the 4x4 or 2x2.

There will also be a party area where we welcome spectators to relax, drink, and cheer on the runners, even if they are not competing.

There will be prizes for each category:

  • Fastest men's solo
  • Fastest women's solo
  • Fastest 2-person relay
  • Fastest 4-person relay

*** You can bring your own Beer for the event as long as it is not in glass bottles.  Otherwise beer will be provided for all participants.****

Heroes Brewing Company is a proud sponsor and will be open for food and drink for spectators and participants.  All designated drivers will be provided a non-alcoholic drink.  Stay after the event to watch the Bills Game at Heroes Brewing. Heroes Brewing is a local brewery that opened in 2020 to celebrate the unsung heroes of our community, and they are upholding their community tradition in sponsoring this event! They have supported our community and partnered with over 70 different organizations and donated over 34,000 cans of beer!! Expect to quench your pallet during the after party with an assortment of new brews on tap.

All event proceeds are benefiting the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation via Chelsea Conway's NYC Marathon fundraiser. The Cystic Fibrosis Foundation is a life threatening genetic disorder that affects the lungs and digestive system of those diagnosed. We are fundraising on behalf of the Foundation to help fund research, treatments, and provide support to those affected by the disease.  Additional donations are welcome here: https://fundraisers.hakuapp.com/conway-cff-nycmarathon

We can't wait to see all of Rochester's Runners come out and participate in this thirst quenching, historic, and fun event.
