Description
Join us again in our community building challenge! Our is goal to collectively log enough miles in the month of November to circle the equator (24,901 miles).
The last time we “ran around the world” was during the Covid pandemic. This time, we’re running in response to a fire at our Sayville location. We hope to rise like the mighty Phoenix, which in Greek mythology would die in a blaze of fire, only to be reborn from its ashes.
Whether you walk 1 mile in November, or run 300 miles, your effort and support is greatly appreciated. Along the way there will be raffles, prizes, and motivational checkpoints as well to keep everyone on their toes and spirits high.
Giveaway
Every participant will get a tee shirt with the event logo on it. There is also an option to have the shirt picked up at our Smithtown location (or perhaps in the new future our temporary Sayville location) OR shipped for an additional cost.
.
Raffles
Our vendor partners have generously offered prizes that will be raffled off during the course of the challenge. You only need to have logged 1 mile to be eligible!
Rise of the Phoenix
The phoenix is an immortal bird that cyclically regenerates or is otherwise born again. Associated with the sun, a phoenix obtains new life by rising from the ashes of its predecessor. The phoenix is said to live for 500 - 1,000 years, and only one phoenix lives at a time.

FAQ
Q: Do I need to run every day?
A: No. If you run or walk once during the whole month, or twice every single day it makes no difference on your eligibility. Cumulative miles are all we're worried about.
Q: How will I know our progress?
A: There will be regular emails sent out that will update you on our collective progress. These emails will also include motivation, and raffle prizes. Make sure you select receive emails during the registration process.
