The Utica First Summer Sizzle is back and hotter than ever in its 37th year!
Join in on the fun and celebrate Father's Day on June 17th as the Sizzle Five Mile road race returns to Proctor Park and the Masonic Care Community!
We will be following all city, state, and federal guidelines to hold a safe race for all our participants. We will also be offering a Virtual an option for runners who would prefer to do the 5 mile distance on their own. There will be no refunds or deferrals into 2026.
The Summer Sizzle has a long-standing tradition of being a family event. To celebrate Father's Day we will have multiple divisions for families to compete in for special awards and prizes.
What do you get? A sweet Summer Sizzle racing singlet with a new design from our friends at USA Racing! The first 250 registrations (including the kids run) also get a pair of savory sunglasses to keep the sun out of your eyes in style! And stickers! You get a sticker too!
Divisions include:
Father/Son, Father/Daughter, Mother/Son, Mother/Daughter, and a Division for all Couples.

The Half Mile Kids Run begins at 8:30 am and the Five Mile Summer Sizzle begins at 9 am!
Packet pick-up will be:
Saturday, June 14th at the Sneaker Store 12-5 pm
Sunday, June 16th at TR Proctor Park from 7:30 am to 8:45 am.
This is a part of the Utica Roadrunners Four Race Challenge, the UR Grand Prix, and the Club Cup.
