Come sweat with us this October during our first ever 5k event! Everybody is welcome to come to this fun event whether you are running or walking, solo or with family!
The proceeds from this event will benefit North Country programs supporting Maternity Health and Wellness services.

S.L.A.M. Sweat Like a Mother is a comprehensive exercise program for women in all stages of motherhood, but it is also so much more than just a fitness group. We are a community and we strive to bring women together as moms and as athletes. We believe in showing our children that your body is the greatest instrument that you will ever own, and that through movement you can build strength. Our classes combine fitness with camaraderie, and offer an opportunity for women to come together under a common goal of bettering themselves, challenging themselves, and becoming the best version of themselves that they can be.
Start and end point is at the American Legion in Black River, there will be refreshments provided post-race as well as awards. In the rear parking area of the American Legion, local vendors and food trucks will be set up for your enjoyment after the race. Beer bucket specials for runners will be inside the American Legion.
*For stroller runners, we will have a delayed start to ensure participant safety.
