Girls on the Run of Dayton Spring Celebratory 5k presented by Synchrony and Dayton Children's Hospital

Anyone who has been to a Girls on the Run 5K knows that it is unlike any other running event. It is a celebration of and for the girls who are completing a ten-week season of Girls on the Run and Heart & Sole programming. By the day of the 5K, their enthusiasm is so unbridled that they are running around before the race! Positive energy abounds as the girls dance to warm-up music, get "happy hair" and faces painted, and gather with their teammates to hold hands as they head to the starting line. Our 5K is that will bring a smile to your face.

As many of you know, our Girls on the Run participants traditionally run alongside an adult Running Buddy. The job of the Running Buddy is to provide one-on-one support and encouragement to their girl as she takes on a great challenge. YOU can help our girls find their happy pace and share in the magic of helping her cross the finish line. 

All registrations received by April 28 will receive a race-day giveaway.  For those who register after April 28, the giveaway is not guaranteed but available first-come first served. 

On race day, registration and check-in will open at 11:30am.
