New Date: TBD
Thank you for your interest in the Veterans Honor Run.
Following directives from Ohio Governor Mike DeWine, the Ohio Department of Public Health, Cuyahoga Board of Health and the CDC to limit public gatherings, we are postponing the Veterans Honor Run, originally planned for Sunday, May 24th.
The safety of our participants, volunteers, race crew, guests and community is a top priority and the Runiversity, along with Peace Racing, is taking appropriate action to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19).
We will notify you when a new date has been selected and look forward to your participation.
Additional race information can be found at https://theruniversity.com/event/veterans-honor-run-2/.
Join us in Avon Lake on Sunday, May 24, for the 7th annual Veterans Honor Run. Put on your best Red, White, and Blue as we embark on 3.1 miles through the streets and parks in honor of our veterans.
Event weekend festivities will include packet pick up at a local establishment, a brief ceremony before the start of the run, and raffle prizes that will be drawn during the awards ceremony.
The Veterans Honor Run is a fundraising event for the Valor Home and the Nine Line Foundation. These charities dedicate their time, energy, resources, and funds to our nations veterans and we thank you for helping us raise as much money as possible.
