The "IN PERSON" Run Your Heart out 5K - Presented by HomeTown Health and Fitness has been CANCELED due to siginificant winter weather.

Due to current weather and road conditions - Guernsey county is at a Level 1 snow emergency. We are switching todays "In Person" race to a "Virtual" event.

Please submit your times HERE by March 1st.

We will have January and February medals at the March event for anyone that completed todays race Virtually.

HomeTown Health and Fitness - Run Your Heart Out 5K Run/Walk

2nd race in our winter race series! Join us on Sunday February 16, 2025 @ 2:00 PM. There is something for everyone, whether you’re a competitive runner, or want to walk with friends! All proceeds will be donated to the new Guernsey County Dog Shelter Building Fund.

Sunday February 16, 2024 @ 2:00 PM. The start and finish will be at Guernsey County Fairgrounds, 335 Old National Road, Old Washington, Ohio

Race Course

The Course is through the fairgrounds and through Old Washington.

Starting Time

Sunday, February 16, 2025 @ 2:00 P.M.

Awards
Overall Awards will be presented to the top three overall male/female finishers in the Race division. *Family Fun Run/Walkers will not be eligible for awards.
Awards will also be given to the top three male/female finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 and over.

Race Results
Automatic Text and Email results will be sent immediately follow a participants finish for those that opt-in. Instant results will also be available on site at the Results Kiosks and at the race website.

Race Packets and Finish Line Perks

You can pick up your bib on race day starting at 12:30 PM at the Guernsey County Fairgrounds. We will have hot food, finish line snacks and bottled water at the finish line. Participants that complete all 3 races will receive a hoodie at the March Race.

***NOTE***
If we are unable to safely hold an in-person race due to Severe Weather, pandemics or need to cancel for any other reason, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling.
