Get ready for an exhilarating experience that makes a difference! Join us as we embark on our 4th annual Walk Home, this year with a 5k run option. You can participate in this family friendly event as a 5k runner or a 1-mile fun walker or runner. No matter what you do, it will be a great day to trot through Garfield Park in support of under-resourced pregnant and parenting women in our community!
Events like The Walk Home support the Haven Home’s transformative work in the Slavic Village community. Event Day Timeline
- 12:00 PM - Packet Pick Up and Registration Opens
- 2:00 PM - Chip-timed 5k run/walk begins
- 2:05 PM - 1 Mile Walk begins
- Awards and refreshments to follow!
Run/Walk Route
Start at Rock Community Church Parking Lot
- Left onto Garfield Blvd
- Enter Multipurpose Trail after Turney rd
- Follow outside loop clockwise
- Water Stop will be off of the trail near Garfield Park Red Oak shelter
- Exit loop on Multipurpose trail
- Enter road before Turney rd
- Continue on Garfield Blvd
- Right into Church Parking Lot to Finish
