Description
The Towpath Trilogy is an annual running race series that takes place on the Towpath Trail in Cuyahoga County and benefits Canalway Partners. The series features a variety of distances, from a 5K to a full marathon. Your participation in the Towpath Trilogy directly supports Canalway's work programming of the Towpath Trail, developing Canal Basin Park, and dozens of other projects within the Ohio & Erie Canalway National Heritage Area that make our community stronger and more vibrant.
The race series features the Towpath Half in April, the Towpath Twilight in June, and The Towpath Marathon in October. Runners and walkers who register for all three races, at any distance, will receive a custom-designed Towpath Trilogy sweatshirt upon completing the October race.
When you register, you must register for a distance in all 3 races: one in April, one in June, and one in October. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR ALL 3 RACES OR YOUR REGISTRATION WILL BE VOID.

Friday, June 13, 2025 - Towpath Twilight - 10 Miler, 10K and 5K
Saturday, October 4, 2025 - The Towpath Marathon - Marathon, Half Marathon and 10K
