Twas the Night Before 5K

Join the Siembida & Boggs Philanthropic Foundation for the 12th annual "Twas the Night Before 5K" taking place on Tuesday, December 10th, 2024, at Firestone Park in Columbiana.  The 5K run/walk will begin at 6:00pm and is chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown.  The start and finish line are located next to Pavilion #1 which is decorated as a church.  

The address for Firestone Park is:  347 E. Park Avenue, Columbiana, Ohio 44408.  

The race takes participants through the Joy of Christmas light show which features over 1,000,000 lights!  

Your registration includes a participant long sleeve shirt, commemorative finisher medal and chip-timed custom bib number.  

Online registration for our event will close on Thursday, December 5th at noon.  We will not be accepting any registrations after this date.

All participants will be required to pick up their packets prior to the race.  There will be no race day packet pick-up or registration.  Packet pick-up dates and locations are:

- Saturday, December 7th from 12pm-4pm at Davis Family YMCA.  The address for the YMCA is:  45 McClurg Rd, Youngstown, Ohio 44512.

- Sunday, December 8th from 12pm-3pm at Birdfish Brewery.  The address for Birdfish is:  140 E. Park Avenue, Columbiana, Ohio 44408.

You will choose your packet pick-up location during registration.  Your packet will include your commemorative medal, long sleeve participant shirt, and chip-timed custom bib number.  Shirts are only guaranteed to those participants registered by Nov. 25th.  Registration prices increase on Monday, November 25th.

We also offer a virtual 5K option.  You may choose to pick up your packet during the selected time slot or we can mail your packet for $11.

Please note that 5K awards will be presented inside the pavilion next to the finish line shortly after participants finish.  Cookies are available for participants inside the pavilion, and we will have a DJ playing festive music!

A free after party, including soup for participants, takes place at Birdfish Brewery, which is family-friendly, and is just a short distance from the race!
