Description
Please join us for the 18th Annual Cat Caper 5K walk/run benefiting the Cat Welfare Association on Saturday, September 28th at 10am. Our location will be the Westerville Sports Complex located at 325 N Cleveland Avenue.
The Westerville Sports Complex has great parking and a racecourse that is flat, paved, scenic & fun. In addition, the space for our CAT CAPER 5K RAFFLE is ideal. Participants will once again have a chance to connect with nature while running or walking the 5K.
As with the past, bring all your friends or family and save! If you register 5 or more for the 5K and everyone in the group gets $5 off their entry! Each member of the group needs to register in the same 'cart' and the discount will automatically appear when you check-out.

Race Day Information
Race day begins with registration at 8:30 a.m., followed by the Kids Fun Run (ages 12 and under) at 9:30 a.m. The 5K starts at 10:00 a.m. Following the race there will be a silent auction raffle, always a fan favorite!
PACKET PICK-UP: You may pick up your packet in advance at Cat Welfare, located at 741 Wetmore Rd in Columbus during the following days / times. You may designate anyone to pick up your packet for you, all they need is your name.
Tuesday - September 24th - Noon - 3pm
Wednesday, September 25th - Noon - 6pm
Thursday, September 26th - Noon - 3pm
Friday, September 27th - Noon - 3pm
POST RACE EVENTS: Come for the 5K, stay for the fun. There will be vendors, CWA's catnip pillows and the spectacular post-race raffle including gift certificates and items waiting to be won by you! This year our raffle will be our 'best ever'! All proceeds of the raffle go to the Shelter. Please bring CA$H so you can support Cat Welfare and have fun doing it!
AWARDS: All runners and walkers will receive a medal as they cross the finish line. Awards will be presented to the top 5 finishers in each event.
SWAG: Your Cat Caper 5K swag bag will include a custom race shirt, one silent auction raffle ticket, coupons and special offers from our sponsors and friends and some other surprises.
DOGS: Permitted on leashes.
STROLLERS: Permitted.
DONATIONS: Bring a donation canned of PURINA cat food and receive a free ticket for each can donated!
CURRENT RAFFLE ITEMS & RAFFLE INFORMATION: Each raffle item will have a small bag in front of it where you can drop your tickets for the items you want to win. All participants will receive 1 raffle ticket in your swag bag, you may also receive raffle tickets for the aforementioned donation items, and we will have tickets for sale at the race (so bring cash)!
