Kids Run (approx. 100 meters) - IN-PERSON
Description
The Make A Day Foundation is excited to host our third annual 5K Run/Walk to support our mission of empowering the impoverished through inclusive community events, acts of kindness, outreach, advocacy, and educational awareness. This exciting event includes a 100-meter Kids Run for our young supporters, a 5K run/ walk for all ability levels, and a social celebration featuring an afterparty at the Nocterra Brewery Audubon location. Sign up today and join us on Sunday, November 10, 2024, at the Scioto Audubon Metro Park!
Additional Race Information
Swag
5K participants will receive a race t-shirt (while supplies last), finisher medal, 1 FREE beer ticket for the afterparty (for those 21 and up - more details on the afterparty below), and gear bag (with option to donate to use at our pop-up events). All shirts and shirt sizes are guaranteed to those who sign up by October 10 at 11:59 pm. Shirts and shirt sizes will be first come, first serve for those who sign up on October 11 or later.
All kids run participants will receive a finisher prize!
Early Packet Pickup
Save time in line on race morning by picking up your packet at early packet pickup! Early packet pickup will be available at Columbus Running Company's Dublin Location (6465 Perimeter Dr, Dublin, OH 43016) on Friday, Nov. 8, from 10 am to 8 pm, and Saturday, Nov. 9, from 10 am to 6 pm.

10:00 AM - 5K Run/Walk Begins
10:30 AM - After party (hosted at Nocterra Brewing) right next to the start/finish line

Parking
Participants can park in the large lot in front of Nocterra Brewing Co. - Audubon. Plug 516 Maier Pl, Columbus, OH 43215 into your GPS to find this lot in front of Nocterra Audubon. This lot is closest to the start/finish line, check-in area, and afterparty.
There will also be parking available in the parking lot near the Scioto Audubon water tower and climbing wall. To find this lot, you can plug 500 W Whittier St Columbus, OH 43215 into your GPS device. This lot is a short walk to the start/finish line, check-in area, and afterparty.

After Party - Hosted at Nocterra Audubon!
The after party will start at 10:30 am inside the Nocterra Brewing Audubon location, right next to the start/finish line! For those ages 21 and up who register for the Make A Day 5K, your first beer at the after party is included with the price of registration for the 5K! Just show your bib when you arrive to the after party to receive your first beer. Food and snacks will be available for purchase at Nocterra with a portion of proceeds going back to Make A Day.
Awards
Awards will be presented at 11:00 AM at the after party inside Nocterra. We will present awards to the following categories:
Top 3 overall male finishers
Top 3 overall female finishers
Top 3 overall non-binary finishers
