Our goal is to support members of our city while highlighting east side community partners!
Join us July 6th. 2025
Race begins at 8:30AM.
The 5K Run/Walk will begin & end at Faith Lutheran Church, in Whitehall. All proceeds from this event will support the work of the Carter Kindess a local non profit that seeks to feed people and spread kindness across our city. The 5K Run/Walk course will be mostly on neighborhood roads and a loop around Lamby Lane Park before heading back to the finish line. The course is flat and on paved surfaces.
Race Day Perks
Before the race enjoy wonderful coffee provided by Florin Coffee and afterward stay for the post race hotdogs courtesy of Uncle Will's Wagon.
Pastries and treats are available for runners, walkers, watchers, and all visitors.
Race T-shirt
Each participant will receive a race shirt. If you register for the race after 7/1/2025, shirts and/or your shirt size will not be guaranteed. Please register early.

Carter Kindness is a nonprofit spreading kindness across the world! Thanking front line, essential, hard working people with $5 Gift cards, small gifts of gratitude, and positive words! Fighting food insecurity and all around human kindness! Please help spread the kindness and help make the world a better place. Kindness is FREE, and Smiles are contagious! It's been both awe inspiring & a privilege to see the huge impact this young person is having all across our city!
Packet Pick-up and Race Day Registration
Packet pick-up will happen on RACE DAY at Faith Lutheran Church starting at 7:00AM. There will be race day registration, but we encourage everyone to register in advance so we know how many participants we will have.
Awards and Age Groups
Finisher woodles will be given to all upon completion of the course.
Top male and female overall finishers will receive gift bags & coupon for a free pair of shoes from Calzuro Shoes.
Age Groups:
- 19 and under
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60 and above
Top finishers, female and male, will be recognized in the results.

- 8:20AM Line up and final course announcements
- 8:30AM 5K START
Post race food will be available.
Awards presentation after the race.
