Our mission remains as critical as ever. The needs of the Passion Center for Children continue, and the need is exacerbated with the impact of the Coronavirus in Malawi. With a hospital bed capacity of 13 rooms per 10,000 citizens, and an estimated 25 ICU beds in the entire nation, Malawians are especially vulnerable.
100% of net proceeds benefit the Passion Center for Children's ministry in Malawi, Africa. To read more about this ministry or to donate, visit our donation page. All race committee members are unpaid volunteers.
The Passion Center for Children is a dynamic partnership between individuals, churches, and organizations in the United States committed to making a real difference in Malawi, Africa. Commonly known as the "Warm Heart of Africa," this beautiful country staggers under the growing weight of HIV/AIDS, poverty, and disease which continues to steal the futures of so many orphans, widows and entire communities. In just a few short years, God has grown the Passion Center for Children into a dynamic, orphan rescuing, widow encouraging, household reclaiming, community strengthening, Jesus focused ministry.
Passion Center for Children began caring for its first orphans in 2004. Since then, the Passion Center for Children expanded to daily feeding over 300 village children, providing school tuition and fees, caring for over 20 Child-Headed Households, launched a Champions Club to care for more than 70 special needs children, began a youth sports network, developed a Community Health Network which serves over 150 villages, supporting 30 students in college, built a community library, as well as training over 1,000 Pastors and ministry leaders throughout the region, and so much more.
