Let Me Run takes our commitment and responsibility to the Columbus community, and all our program communities across the country, very seriously. For the past few weeks, we have closely tracked the recommendations of the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and the decisions that each state and school district are making regarding school cancellations and event gatherings. Due to the evolving concerns and the CDC's recommendation to not hold any large events for the next 8 weeks, Let Me Run has made the difficult decision to cancel our 2020 SpringFest 5K on May 3rd. We ask that you please review the following options and make your decision below or on the race registration page (https://runsignup.com/letmeruncbus)
We want to thank all of you who have registered! Even though we will not be moving forward with our 2020 SpringFest 5K, we hope that you consider allowing your registration fee to be a donation to our organization to help us offset costs incurred in preparing for the race. If you would like 100% of your registration fee to become a donation, no further action is required. All donations made to Let Me Run are 100% tax-deductible, and you will receive a tax receipt. It is entirely because of support from our donors that we are able to both develop and deliver quality programming that helps our boys become their best selves. With your donation, we can continue making an impact in the lives of more boys, locally and across the country.
We understand that not all of our registrants would like to move forward with this donation option, so if you would like to receive a full refund, please indicate this below by April 9, 2020. After two weeks, all remaining fees will be converted to a donation to our program. All refunds will be processed in bulk on or about April 10, 2020.
We appreciate everyone's understanding and flexibility during this time. We are deeply disappointed that we won't be able to host the 2020 SpringFest 5K and celebrate your achievement as well as our boys. We hope to be able to see you cross the finish with us next Fall! In the meantime, we wish you and your family a safe and healthy spring.
