Join X Strides – Help Raise Awareness for Fragile X
X Strides is a fun, family-friendly 5K run/walk to raise awareness and funds to support the mission of the National Fragile X Foundation (NFXF). NFXF serves the entire Fragile X community to enable them to live their best lives by providing the support, knowledge, resources and tools until, and even after, more effective treatments and a cure are discovered.
October 15 Update:
Please note that as of Oct. 15, X Strides Columbus will be going 100% virtual to better meet the needs of our participants and to provide everyone with an opportunity to complete the event when and where they feel most comfortable. Although we had hoped to provide an in-person run/walk the continued concerns surrounding public health and social distancing lead us to make this adjustment to our plans. Our main goals continue to be to raise awareness about Fragile X and raise funds for the National Fragile X Foundation. Thank you for your support and involvement in our event. We are excited to have you walk or run our 5K virtually and share your photos with us at emack@fragilex.org.
*Please note that if you originally signed up to participate in the in-person event, your registration will be changed to virtual and no additional changes from the participant standpoint are needed. Packets will be mailed out to all participants starting the week of Oct. 18. Any registrants after 10/17 will have things mailed on 10/25. Reporting virtual results is optional via the "Results" tab at the top of the race website. The reporting window will be open from 9:00 am on Oct. 23 through 11:59 pm on Nov. 7.

Shoe Donation
Our shoe drive will start officially on September 15th and we are working with Sneakers4Funds! You can also bring new or gently used shoes of any style with you on race day and we will donate them to the cause! Thank you so much for your generosity!
Swag
Those who sign up for the race will receive a unique 2021 race shirt! All participants will have their materials mailed to them starting on the week of 10/18.
