Explorer 5K & Fun Run

Thank You for Supporting the 3rd Annual Explorer 5K

We are sincerely grateful for your support of the 3rd Annual Explorer 5K. All proceeds from this event are directly reinvested into Hudson’s student-athletes, athletic teams, equipment, and related programs.

The Hudson Athletic Booster Club is dedicated to providing financial support to our teams, coaches, and athletes to further strengthen their athletic and academic success. Last year, we proudly awarded more than $115,000 in grant funding to fulfill coaches’ requests for team needs, including equipment, uniforms, training, and educational resources. In addition, we provided four scholarships for $2,000 each to outstanding student-athletes.

TIMELINE:

• Race Day Schedule-
  7am - Race day registration and packet pickup begin and will close promptly at 7:45am. The registration tent will be located on the home side of the football stadium.
  8am - National Anthem and send off by Mayor
  8:15-8:30am - Explorer 1 mile run/walk begins
  9am - Kids fun run and dash begins inside the stadium on the track
  9:30-10am - Awards & post-run snacks

RACE LOCATIONS:

EXPLORER 5K
The Explorer 5K will start in the Hudson High School tennis parking lot and take runners through the scenic trail of Hudson Springs Park and then back to the high school to finish in the Hudson Memorial Stadium. Map below.

ONE-MILE LOOP
If you aren't up for the 5K, don't worry—the One-Mile Loop is for you! Not surprisingly, the One-Mile Loop loops around Memorial Stadium. See the map below.

KIDS' FUN RUN
Kids are encouraged to take on the Fun Run, which happens on the Memorial Stadium track.

AWARDS: Awards will be given to the top male and female winners. 

COST: Pre-Race Register for the 5K or One-Mile Loop is $35. 
All participants who pre-register will receive a short-sleeve Bella & Canvas race t-shirt. 
**All Hudson City Schools teachers or staff, as well as students, will receive a $5 discount!**

PACKET PICKUP:

Friday, September 12th from 2pm to 3:30pm -  **Teachers, staff and students only**
Pick up will be in the Main office conference room, located behind Mr. Chuppa's office at the High School. 

Friday, September 12th from 4pm-5:30pm - **** All registrants ****
Pick up will be located outside of the Hudson High School main entrance off of Hudson-Aurora Rd. (see map below)

Friday, September 12th from 6pm-7pm - *** All registrants attending the game ***
Pick up will be inside the Hudson Memorial Stadium during the football game in front of the Malson Athletic Center.

Saturday, September 13th from 7:00 to 7:45 -  *** All registrants  ***

Pick up will be at the Hudson Memorial Football Stadium home side entrance.
