Description
Welcome to the first annual Monarch 5K Run/Walk benefiting the Bunsold Middle School Track and Cross Country Teams. We will be holding this race on Sunday September 3rd at 12:00 p.m. at the Marysville High School track located in the football stadium. We are raising money to buy new uniforms for the Bunsold Middle School Cross Country and Track Teams since our current uniforms are getting worn and outdated. With your registration of $30, you will receive a race shirt, a finishers medal and an awesome swag bag for the first 200 registrants. The race will be chip timed and we will have awards for the top 2 in each age category. We will also be holding a raffle for some great prizes right after the awards ceremony. You can pre-purchase tickets here as well.
Come join us for some fun along the Jim Simmons Trail over the bridge across Route 33 and back to the track for a fast finish.
Grab your friends and family and register your team. You only need to have 4 per team. See how you stack up against other teams.

Virtual Run
Would you love to support the cause but can't make it out on race day? Take part in the Monarch 5K Virtual Run and you can still have your money go to the team and earn a t-shirt. Just use the Virtual Run option on the registration page and the race committee will take care of the rest!
Early Packet Pickup
Save time in line on race day and stop by Columbus Running Company's Dublin location (6465 Perimeter Dr) on Friday, September 1 (10a-8p) or Saturday, September 2 (10a-6p) and pick up your race gear early. You can get an early look at fall gear while getting prepared for race day. Race day pickup will also be available at Marysville High School stadium beginning at 10:30 am.
Parking
There is a ton of parking at the Marysville High School football stadium where the race begins and finishes.
Timeline
- 10:30 am - Pre-registered pickup begins at the Marysville High School stadium
- 12:00 pm - The inaugural Monarch 5K Run/Walk is underway!
- 1:00 pm - Award ceremony followed immediately by the raffle drawing
Swag
First 200 registrants will receive a race t-shirt, finishers medal as well as an awesome swag bag. Register early to ensure you get the swag!
Raffle
We will be holding a raffle directly after the awards ceremony. Purchase raffle tickets here or on race day. $1 for 1 ticket, $5 for 6 tickets, or $10 for 15 tickets.
Awards
Prizes awarded to top male and female per category. Ages 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over
Teams
The only thing better than running this race is participating with family and friends. Create a team and run as a group to have fun together!
