What is MOVEB25K?

We are a dedicated movement group to help inspire people new to the community to move and prepare you for success in your first 5k race! 

MOVE is the acronym for our non-profit:

Mission, Opportunity, Vision, Energy

B25K stands for "Beginner to 5k":

This does not have to be your first 5k race.  However, this group is intended to help prepare people who are still fairly new to running/walking and would benefit from a dedicated training program and group accountability as we will meet once a week to MOVE together!

MOVEB25K Group Benefits:

Regardless of where you are in your movement journey, we welcome you and want to help you to a goal of running your 5k (3.14 miles) non-stop from start to finish!  

Group Meet Details

When: We start the week of March 24.  The 9-week plan will give you the three workouts for each week.  You will be responsible for doing two during the week.  We highly recommend that you give yourself a recovery day in-between each workout.  Our weekly group run will rotate between Saturday and Sundays.  I will take a poll a few weeks prior to each run to get a feel of what day works best for the group that week!  

** You are more than welcome to meet up with a friend(s) in the group during the week too!  I highly encourage this to help keep each other accountable!  

Where: Every week we will travel to a new location for our group MOVE.  To help you succeed we really want you to get to know the people in the group and form positivie relationships to help you with your accountability!  After every group run we will meet at a local coffee shop to socialize after!
