Bad Dog 5000

Do you hate cancer? Do you also enjoy hanging out with awesome people? If you do, please join us at the 4th annual Bad Dog 5000 race in Ottawa, Ohio July 12 at the Car E It party shop. We do this event every year to raise money for our favorite charity, the Putnam County Cancer Assistance Program. All proceeds go to our friends here so they can help those going through treatment for cancer. ALL proceeds stay right here in the county, helping our friends and neighbors when they need it most. This event is also to honor our dear friends Sam Nienberg and Carol Miller, both gone to soon. These ladies were near to our hearts and we do this with them in mind as they were both avid fitness enthusiasts. This is a family friendly event for the whole family. Everyone is welcome and there is a 1 mile "fun run" option for kids and those not wanting to do a full 5k. EVERYONE can do this! You can run, walk, bike, or rollerblade... whatever it takes. We also LOVE spectators to cheer us on and take part in the fellowship afterwards. The more the merrier!! There will be medals for top 3 male and female finishers in each age group, as well as awards for the top male and female finishers over all. Race day registration desk opens up at 8am with race starting at 9am.
