About
The Pickerington Juvenile Diabetes Fundraising Association is a Non-Profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of families affected by Type 1 Diabetes and helping raise awareness for T1D in our community.
Money raised through registrations and donations to the 4th Annual Brevard Circle 5K will benefit the Central Ohio Diabetes Association's Camp Hamwi and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation. In addition to these great organizations, we will be using some of the funds raised to provide support to T1D families in our community. We hope to accomplish this by providing resources to newly diagnosed families; creating additional scholarships to diabetes camp; hosting events for T1D Families to get together and connect; provide support and resources to our local schools; and to help increase the community's understanding of this disease.
