The Cut Carbon Run

Brought to you by Students Cutting Carbon Emissions, a 501c3 organization. 

Both the 5K and 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at Horseshoe Lake Park at 8:00am. Pre-registered participants will receive a short-sleeved race t-shirt; there will also be a limited quantity of t-shirts available for those who register day-of. All 5K runners (or walkers!) will receive a race bib with a chip to keep track of their times, and the top 5 finishers will receive prizes!

Race Day Registration/Packet Pickup- 7:00am

Race Detail:

Race starts and ends at Horseshoe Lake Park. Everyone who pre-registers will receive a short sleeve race t-shirt. A limited amount of race t-shirts will be available for those who register on the day of the race. 

Awards:

Awards will be given to the Top 5 Overall Runners. 

The Cause:

This race is only the beginning of SCCE's journey. The proceeds from the event will be invested into Calvert Impact's Cut Carbon Note, an investment project focusing on sustainability in commercial buildings, a large source of carbon emissions worldwide.
