Follow the Blue Blazes
The Hike will have a lead and sweep. The route will follow the same as the course used with the 10K and Half Marathon. Hike map and description of historical locations on the route will be provided at check-in.

If you are new to the experience of Backpacking and would like to improve your skills and comfort level, consider participating in this workshop. The group will be lead by Appalachian Understories with orientation on Friday, starting at 11:00am, leaving for the trail by early afternoon and returning to Shawnee on Saturday.
