Standing Up To POTS 5K is a Run/Walk on Wittenberg's campus to benefit Standing Up to POTS. The race will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Alumni Way of Wittenberg University. Participants are to report to the Benham Pence Student Center and follow the signs to the registration tables. In the event of rain, registration will take place indoors. The address of the building is 734 Woodlawn Avenue Springfield, Ohio 45504. The event will be held rain or shine.
5K and 2K-Pre-registration by October 5th to be guaranteed a T-shirt
2K - A non-competitive, shorter route for those who desire it. No medals will be awarded for this distance.
Adults age 23 and greater: $25
Students age 22 and under: $10
5k & 2K-Pregisteration after October 5th (t-shirt not included)
On the day of the event, registration will begin one hour before the race is to begin. It is suggested participants arrive as close to this time as possible so that registration may finish before the event begins.
Participants will be awarded for the top 3 places in each age division (14 and under, 15-19, 20-25, 26-35, 36- 49, 50 & up), as well as the top 3 Male and top 3 Females overall
All proceeds from this event will be donated to Standing Up to Pots, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Donations will be used to investigate quality of life issues, implement research-based initiatives to improve quality of life for people with POTS, and accelerate public awareness.
