Description
The 2nd annual Lake Community Hope 5k run/walk and fun run will be on 8/17/25. This even will occur in the Lake Community with the partnership of the Lake Community YMCA, to raise money for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in Memory of Melissa, Renee, Amber and Evan.
As we grow, this year, will feature a new course route and the opportunity for more sponsors and vendors to participate.
The 5k is designed for both competitive runners, joggers, power walkers and those just out for a stroll. The 5k will feature a chip timing system this year!
The fun run is great for younger kiddos and those that want to participate but also want to cheer on the 5k event or even volunteer.
Shirt:
All participants will receive a unisex shirt. Shirt sizes will be limited after July 31 with limited selection!
-Youth Small to Large
-Adult Small to 3X-Large
-No shirt option - "Please I'd like to donate my shirt to the scholarship."
Early Packet Pickup:
Will be at the Uniontown Lions Festival (Hartville Marketplace and Flea Market)
August 14-16 from 6-8pm

Will be near the start line which will be located behind the Lake Community YMCA from 6:30-7:30am

Lake Community Hope
This event will raise money for the Lake Community Hope Scholarship Fund in Memory of Melissa, Renee, Amber and Evan. This scholarship is to honor the memory and provide an educational scholarship to a Lake Local School senior who demonstrated exceptional engagement in extracurricular activities and community service beyond school. This is a true reflection of the values Melissa instilled in her children and everyone around her.
