Description
This is the 15th annual After the PKs (penalty kicks). The race takes place each year the Sunday after Ohio High School State Soccer Finals. Both the 5k road and 10k trail race start and finish at the Van Buren Sports Complex. The 5k road race and 10k Trail Run through Van Buren State Park begin at 2PM. This is a TRUE trail run – tree roots, mud, and all. Register by OCTOBER 30 to GUARANTEE a shirt!
Event supports and is put on by the boys and girls soccer programs at Van Buren High School including two scholarships and team support.
Shirt Option with registration through noon on October 30. After that, shirts may be purchased day of event.

COURSE:
Both races start and finish at the Van Buren Sports Complex and Allen Township House. The 5k road race and 10k Trail Run through Van Buren State Park begin at 2PM. This is a TRUE trail run – tree roots, mud, and all.
The Fun Run will circle the complex on the paved track. Race will start at 3pm and all runners will receive a prize at the end.
AWARDS:
Awards will be presented immediately following the completion of the race to the Overall Male/Female for both the road race and trail run. The top male and female in each age group for both races will also receive awards - an AWESOME cupcake and some other goodies. Age Divisions are as follows: single digits (9 and under)/ 10-12/13-19/20s/30s/40s/50s/60 and over.
Lots of great doorprizes as well.
REFRESHMENTS:
Awesome refreshments will be available at the Allen Twp House immediately following the race (think indoor bathrooms!)
