COVID-19 ANNOUNCEMENT

April 4, 2022-  Currently the Let's Back The Blue 5K is planned as a live event however that does not completely eliminate the possibility that the event may be switched to a Virtual event due to government and health guidelines.  This is a charitable fundraiser and if it is switched to a virtual event there will be no refunds.   As a virtual event runners and walkers are encouraged to do their own run/walk consistent with CDC guidelines and the State of Ohio's health advisory states "Outdoor exercise like running or taking a walk is perfectly acceptable...While exercising outside, you should still practice social distancing by running or walking at least six feet away from other people."   If you have a treadmill in your home you can complete your run in the comfort of your own house.

We are no putting any timetable on when you should do your virtual run.  Please be cautious and wait until you feel totally safe exercising.

Let’s Back the Blue!  Be part of something POSITIVE that will help make the job of those who put their lives the line for us day in and day out a little safer and more positive.  National Police week is May 15-21, 2022.  Let’s come together to respect, support, and appreciate our men and women in law enforcement. The Let’s Back the Blue 5K and Little Cop 1-Miler is a great way to start!

Run/walk the race in style!  Every 5K participant will receive a medal and a shirt that you can wear after your run. Great keepsakes!

For the kids, the 1 Mile Little Cop Runners receive their very own police badge

How a Virtual Run Works:

You will come to our Packet Pickup to obtain your 5K, 1 Mile run/walk supplies (bibs, pins and Kids/Dog’s badges) and your cool light-up race medal.
Complete  your run/walk anytime after the pick up dates, as convenient for you.  This can be outside, or on a treadmill
Finally, post a picture of you with your crew and cool race bling on our Facebook page, “Let’s Back the Blue 5K”

We will keep all race participants informed through email, and updates on this webpage.   Thank you for your support during these difficult times.

Please understand that our no refund policy remains in effect. The Let's Back The Blue has already spent money to purchase items such as medals, and other services which cannot possibly be absorbed by the charity.   We thank you for your support and understanding during this public health emergency.
