No matter what time of year it is, a visit to Alum Creek State Park is always worth it.
The Alum Creek area isn’t just a beautiful spot. It’s also historically significant. From the people of the Adena culture, who lived in the area over 2,000 years ago to the Delaware Indians who lived in several villages nearby, to frontier settlers in the 17th century, Alum Creek has been the site of human development for as long as humans have lived in Ohio.
Join State Park Running in one of our favorite State Parks.
3 different distances to choose from. 5K, 10K, 1/2 Marathon. No cutoff times and walkers are welcome (finish line closes at 4pm).
All participants get a custom State Park running race bib, a custom race sticker, a race medal, a HOODIE, aid station support, and an ice-cold beverage at the finish!
Race Day Schedule
September 28 & 29
9:15-9:45AM: 1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K, 6 Hours of Power race check in. You will receive your bib and your race sticker.
9:45AM: Pre-race meeting. The Race Director will go over course markings and other important information.
10:00AM: 1/2 Marathon, 10K, 5K, 6 Hours of Power start.
4:00PM: Finish line closes.
