Join us Thanksgiving Morning for the 18th annual Race for Grace 5K Run & 1 mile walk presented by Eastside Community Ministry, Grace Church and the Rotary Club Zanesville.  Runners and walkers of all skill level welcome! All proceeds raised from this event go to Eastside Community Ministry’s Choice Food Pantry and Noon Rotary’s Healthy Bodies Health Minds programs. 

The ECM Choice Food Pantry permits families to visit once a month, providing enough groceries to prepare 3 meals for 3 days for each individual in the household and allows individuals to choose their own food. This helps eliminate food waste and also allows families to have a choice in what food they are feeding to their families. The pantry servers over 5,000 families to provide enough groceries to prepare over 150,000 meals.  

In the summer of 2025, Rotary’s Healthy Bodies Health Minds provided 100 meals bags for low-income children to bridge the gap in the summer meal program during the week of the 4th of July.  For the 2024-2025 school year, Rotary is partnered with Maysville schools to pack 100 meal bags every week of the school year to provide weekend meals for students. 

WHEN/WHERE
5k in person event – Thanksgiving morning, Thursday, November 27th at 8:30 am. Parking for this event will be located at the Grace Church and throughout Downtown Zanesville.
 
RACE COURSE  
Participants will start at Grace Church and experience a flat course throughout downtown Zanesville.  You will finish back at Grace Church for a warm dry place and enjoy coffee or hot chocolate before going home to celebrate Thanksgiving with your family.  
   
ENTRY FEES: ​(non-refundable)
5K Run - $30 Through November 27th.   
Race Day - $35.00.
1 Mile Walk - Free (No Race packet or event shirt).
*ADD $15.00 for optional race packet and event shirt.
All proceeds will go to fight food insecurity in Zanesville and Muskingum County.
 
RACE PACKETS & FINISHLINE PERKS 
Your race packet will include a custom long sleeve technical shirt.  All finishers will receive a custom medal. 
 
RACE REGISTRATION & PACKET PICK-UP 
Pre Event Packet pick-up will be at Grace Church on Tuesday, November 25th and Wednesday November 26th from 12:00 pm until 7:00 pm.

Race Day pick up will begin at 7:00 am at Grace Church 
Register on race day starting at 7:00 am.
 
AWARDS 
Finishers’ awards will be given to the top three male and female finishers in each age category:
14 and under, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+.

REFUND POLICY

***NOTE***
If we are unable (per health dept. regulations) to safely hold an in-person race for ANY reason including Mother Nature or Pandemics, we will automatically convert all registrations to a non-refundable virtual event as opposed to rescheduling. Updates will be posted on the race website.
