Come blow your stack at Oklahoma's first commercial oil well! Ascension St. John Jane Phillips invites you to help fight heart disease, the No. 1 killer in Washington and Osage counties, by participating or donating to the Nellie Johnstone 5K and half marathon. The goal of the event is to bring awareness to cardiac health and fitness, as well as encourage community involvement.
Proceeds benefit the Bluestem Medical Foundation for Ascension Medical Group St. John Heart and Vascular Center programs and FLOWCo-Fitness Lovers of Washington County, a FREE community walk/run fitness program. Bluestem Medical Foundation is an affiliate of the Bartlesville Community Foundation.
Awards:
- Medals will be awarded to the top three men/women in each USATF standard age groups for the 5K and half marathon events.
- Custom medal for ALL half marathon finishers!
- Custom trophy for the first place overall male and female finishers in the half marathon! The custom trophies are designed and created in-kind by Tri County Tech.
- Top fundraising teams will also be recognized.
- Special gift for mothers provided by Ascension Rx MedCare Pharmacy Gift Shop.
