Union City: Officer Owens Memorial Run and Charity Event

The Union City High School Student Council is excited to partner with our local police department to host a charity run in honor of Officer Brandon Owens - who fell ill after contracting COVID-19 while working in the line of duty. Anytime an officer is lost, the effects are felt throughout the community - this is especially true in a small town like ours.

We are excited for the annual fast "Keep Pace" 5k run. Families and folks of all ability levels are welcome to also come together and participate in the 1-mile Family Fun Run/Walk - all sponsored through partnerships with the Union City Police Department and Union City Public Schools.

All funds raised will benefit the Union City "Shop with a Cop" outreach program, which creates special holiday experiences for children in our community.

After the run stay, eat, and enjoy our annual Memorial Charity Event - hosted by several of our student groups and community members. 

Packet Pickup is at 9:00am at the race location and the event begins at 10:00am. 

We are excited to work with Oklahoma Race Company - who will provide electronic chip timing, course management, registration services, start/finish, and race director services.
