The Build Up 5K

The Build Up 5K is more than just a race — it’s a run of gratitude and growth. As we approach a new year, this event is about building momentum and taking time to reflect on how far we’ve come. It’s a chance to run with thankfulness — for the strength in our legs, the people around us, and the progress still ahead.

Event Details

Main Run: 5K (3.1 miles)

Kids Run: A fun, shorter course for the little ones to join in the movement and excitement!

Location: Orenco Woods Nature Park – a scenic course surrounded by trees, trails, and community energy.

Check-In: Please arrive by 8:00 AM to grab your running bib and share space with others before we start.

Start Time: The run begins promptly at 8:30 AM.

Weather: Rain or shine! This is Oregon — come prepared and embrace whatever the day brings.

Wear comfortable running shoes and weather-appropriate clothing.

Be mindful of other park visitors and help keep the course safe and enjoyable for everyone.
