The Jordan Valley Lions Community Club is hosting the Big Loop Race walk or run to promote health and wellness to the aging community and those who are up for a little challenge. The course is set for a big loop around Pharmacy Hill. The race will give all ages a challenge to do-The Climb- to the top of the hill for an increase in elevation to 4,744" and an extra 2 miles for a total of 5.13 miles. The main course is only 3 miles around the hill with an intermediate climb that gradually increases and gradually decreases. Everyone will start at the local High School and finish at the same location. Refreshments will be provided following the race. All racers are expected to carry their own water as needed and carry out all their trash. The weather in May could be wet and rainy, so please watch the local weather app to dress appropriately. All proceeds or donations  will go to the Jordan Valley Lions Community Club to help build a bigger building for local gatherings and celebrations.
