Cats 5k For Kids

 Race day is coming up! THIS RACE IS NOT JUST FOR KIDS, all are welcome to participate and run! Bring the whole family for some fun and to support a cause! This 2018 Spring Semester, Linfield College will be hosting CATS 5K FOR KIDS on May 12th, 2018 at 9AM. Save the Date!

Race Day Details

Registration: Last day to register online will be May 10th at 11:59PM. You can register in person on race day (May 12th). Registration and packet pickup start at 8am, race starts at 9am.

Cost: For students and Staff, the race cost $10. (When you register you will see a $15 discount). For everyone else it is $25. First 60 registrants get a free shirt.

Cause: All Proceeds from the race are being donated to the local McMinnville school district as well as FARE ( Food, Allergy, Research & Education).

Location:  Start and finish on Pioneer way (on campus off of SE Linfield Ave, next to the IM field) at Linfield College in McMinnville, OR 97128. On pioneer way there will be sign-in and registration tables, the start and finish line, water, food trucks, raffle table, games and activities on the IM field next to pioneer way. Bring your kids for some fun!

Time: Packet Pick-up starts at 8 am. The race starts at 9am.

Parking: You are allowed to park throughout Linfield Campus. Some roads will be closed for the race. Find a spot and walk over to Pioneer Way.

Course: Start and finish on Pioneer way. 5k that goes around campus and onto the wellness trail and back to pioneer way. Road and trial running.

Donate: You can donate on the website and on race day.

Raffle: Every runner gets a free raffle ticket. We will hand them out during packet pick-up. You can also buy more raffle tickets on race day. There are some great prizes.

Other: The raffle will take place after everyone has finished the race. There will be games on the IM field next to pioneer way. We may be doing a timed 40 yard sprint for the kids, fastest time wins a prize. It is going to be hot on Saturday.
