Description

Join us this summer for FOUR fun filled Wednesday evenings at Mt. Tabor park.  Run or walk a 5k in the park with your dog, friends, or family then enjoy a fun post-race party that includes live music, games, food trucks, local vendors, and beer garden provided by New Belgium Brewing.  If you have a dog, bring them along (on a leash of course). And if you don’t, then just come enjoy all of the puppy love around you.  Complete the full "series" by participating in the event all 4 weeks in August, or you can pick a single week to join.  Come on out with your best four-legged, three-legged, or two-legged friends for this evening fun run in the park! 

  • There will be plenty of doggie swag given away each week as well as fun contests such as a doggie / owner look alike contest!  
  • Those 21+ will receive 2 free beers provided by New Belgium Brewing
  • Food trucks will be on site with delicious dinner options 
  • Full race series participants will receive a series t-shirt, series medal and weekly charms to attach to the medal

**Any shirt or medal purchases after July 23rd will be charged $10 and items will be shipped to participants.  Shirt size exchanges are not allowed.

RACE SCHEDULE
  • 6:00 p.m - Packet Pick up is only available on race evenings beginning at 6:00 p.m.
  • 6:30 p.m. - Race starts
  • 8:30 p.m. - Event party ends

FAQ's
EVENT DAY 

Q:  What are the dates for the series and how long is the course?
A:  The series will take place all four Wednesday's in August (4th / 11th / 18th / 25th) and each week is a 5k run or walk in Mt. Tabor park.  See course map above.  

Q:  Do I have to have a dog to participate in the event?
A:  Absolutely not!  All dogs are welcome (on a leash please) but it is not required to participate in the event 

Q:  Can I walk the course?
A:  Yes, participants can walk or run the course.  

Q: Do I have to run all four weeks?
A:  No, you have the option to sign up for the full series which is all 4 weeks or you can sign up for a single week.  

Q: Is the event timed?  
A:  No, the event will not be timed.  This is more of a fun run so we will not have chips on the race bibs.  

Q:  Can I exchange my t-shirt size at the race?
A:  Sorry, we are not able to do any shirt size exchanges.  The size you ordered will be the size you receive.  

Q:  Where do I park? 
A:  The park is closed on Wednesday's to motorized vehicles.  You will need to park outside the park and walk or bike to the start / finish.  A parking map will be uploaded to the website soon.  

Q:  Is there a bag check?
A:  No, we will not have a bag check at the event.  Please leave all personal belongings in your vehicle or at home.

Q:  Is there a post race party?
A:  Yes!  The post race party will include live music, beer garden provided by New Belgium, lawn games, and local vendors.  

Q:  Will there be toilets or water on the course?
A:  Sort of.  You will run past the start / finish line once where there will be water and toilets set up.

A:  You can find your registration by going to "find a participant" link above.  If you are there, you are registered.

Q:  Can I transfer my registration to someone else?
A:  No, not for this event. 

Q:  Can I get a refund?
A:  We do not issue refunds for our events.  Please see our refund and transfer policy options here 

Q:  How do I change my personal info?
A:  Please email info@terrapinevents.com to update any information on your profile.

Q:  What is included in my registration?
A:  It depends on which option you chose.  Please see registration information above to see what is included in each package.

Q:  Is there a beneficiary for this event?
A:  Yes, this race benefits the JPM project.  All donations will go towards purchasing gift cards from local restaurants & small businesses and distributing them to frontline workers.  Please see the donation page here
