Join us Sunday, August 9 to celebrate Silverton's Homer Davenport Days with a run through Marion County's only covered bridge and scenic countryside surrounding Silverton.
The start and finish of the Homer Classic is Silverton High School, 1456 Pine St., Silverton, OR.
The 8km Run features a Historic Covered Bridge on this scenic, flat and fast, course. Runners cross the only original covered bridge in Marion County.
The 2 mile Run and Walk features a scenic, flat out and back course with views of the country farm lands surrounding Silverton.
Race packets are available day of race.
The is race is organized by the Silverton Runners' Club. Proceeds from the race to support the Silverton and Mt. Angel school track and cross country programs, scholarships for youth runners to attend running camps, and other local fitness activities.
No dogs or motorized vehicles permitted.
