Description
On Saturday, March 12th at 11:00 AM, Langcliffe Presbyterian Church is hosting its first ever Easter Egg Hunt 5K for the community! It’s a unique 3.1 mile run or walk around Avoca where participants can collect Easter eggs along the course, then open the eggs at the end to see how much their finishing time gets reduced. There will be prizes for different categories and a pasta lunch afterwards (12:00) that’s open to the public. Our goal with this 5K is to raise funds for the Avoca Hose Company and Ruth’s Place (www.ruthsplace.com), a women’s shelter in Wilkes-Barre; all proceeds will go to these organizations.
